I was driving to the beach to shoot some sunset photos when I passed by this place. I meant to shoot here for a long time ago.
The concept is kinda cliché.. the girl walking the path of her life.. not knowing what is to come.
I used a low aperture value to make the infinite blurry and the first plan focused. This way I´m trying to show that the future of our lives is always an enigma, and our destiny is already written thru this thin line. Her lighted head showing that He is always looking after her.
Our lives are based on balance... and if we can maintain that balance thru the years, certaintly there´s a good thing waiting for us all at the end of our journey. This good thing is called happiness, because I think, that´s what we are trying to achieve in each step we take on our lives.
The reason why we go to work every morning.. the reason why we get together with someone, the reason why we have children and educate them the best we can...
...to achieve that happiness that was already destined to us.
P.S.: The light dot above her hair is lens flare. I didn´t spot it at the time. This is the composition I like the most so I decided to upload this one even with the flare. It´s not intentional but as you can see I arrange a concept to it

Very nicely done. I may have preferred it without the solar flare (although I know they can be unavoidable) but I love the borders on it. Hill on one side, trees on the other. Also, the angle of the arms, it leads the eye quite well. The fall look is very nice on this shot. It adds that little extra to the tracks.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
