Today I went with :icondzian: and :iconsweetoney: to Ursa, Cabo da Roca. We were planning to go there a long time ago, and finally that day was today. OMG if I tell you what we had to walk to get to this beach!!Just half the way, and I didn´t felt my legs no more :) But it was defenatly worth it... the beach was stunning... really beautiful indeed. We had to hurry up because after the sunset it would become real dark and to climb all over again could become dangerous.

I took many photos, and I have many that I like. I have chosen this one because of the sky and the strong light creating the shadows trhu the rocks. When I left my house, all I could say was... "look at this sky!!" "I just love this kind of clouds...we´re so lucky!!"

Hope you can feel the energy of that place like I did... One of the most beautiful places I ever been.

Here´s another Photo that I´ve taken. This is Dzian preparing himself to push the button.

Final day light by *PhilipMatthews I've chosen a Comment by =Inebriantia for this image as it sums the image up perfectly "The composition is perfect, the overblown light on the left strikes us right in the chest, and the clever darkening of the sky concentrates the viewer on the foreground and then on the majesty of the background. The low angle enhances the height of those rocks making them look infinite, being this further aided by those ascending cloud streaks that are trying to break through the cosmos." This is a really great shot Filipe, one of your best.
You're right, it was an amazing sky last night...the first good one in ages, but again, sadly other priorities demanded my attention and now it's 6 weeks since I touched my camera :-(

I've never climbed down to this beach, just the cliffs above, but it looks an amazing place.

The light in this shot is fantastic, and the clouds look as though they are reaching down and touching the tops of the rocks.
The foreground is fantastic with the light striking the side of the rocks and bringing out the texture.
Great work
